Revolutionary high-end loudspeaker

Adigo led the development of The Nordic Tone – Model 1, aiming to create a loudspeaker that challenged conventional design and materials, with an ultra-flat frequency response. Managing concept creation, design, prototyping and testing, our team of industrial designers collaborated with acoustics specialists at SEAS and metallurgists at ELART to bring Model 1 to life. Inspired by aircraft design, we engineered thin-walled aluminum castings with constrained layer damping. The result featured double-curved surfaces, achieving minimal sound coloration—the lowest ever measured by SEAS. The Nordic Tone by Electrocompaniet garnered acclaim for its striking aesthetics and unmatched sound quality, setting a new standard in high-end speaker design.
