Real-time ocean mapping

Adigo was tasked with designing the enclosures and mounting brackets for the first batch of Miro’s newest ocean tracking sensor WaveFusion®, along with providing renderings and sketches for very early-stage marketing. WaveFusion® combines downward-looking with outward-looking measurements and the shape of the enclosure reflects this directional nature. The front is rounded to let radio waves pass unhindered while the polygonal patterns around the sides reflect the digitized 3D mapping of ocean waves. This project differed from most of our other work by being purely centered around mechanical product design, the internal components and core technology being developed elsewhere.
